Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Preheat Oven 475 F

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Bakers sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup salted butter melted
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream

  • 2 tbsp salted butter melted
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp Old Bay Seasoning

Mix the dry goods together in one bowl, then in a second bowl mix the buttermilk and butter together and carefully fold it into the mixed dry goods (do not over beat or mix to keep the biscuits soft and fluffy). Scoop out the crumbly dough into a 1/4 cup measuring cup, lightly ball them and place them on a cooking dish with 1 inch distance between them . Brush the tops of the balls with heavy cream and bake for 12 minutes. Mix the toppings on and brush onto the baked biscuits
